Ricoh GR 到了第三代總是會來一次大革新


當年GRD2到GRD3將光圈從F2.4擴大到F1.9,並採用新的感光元件,令色彩呈現更細膩。由於GRD採用的是1/1.7吋的小片幅,到了2013年,Ricoh GR 大幅度的升級為 APS-C片幅的隨身機,相對1/1.7吋的感光元件增大了9倍,同時期同類型的相機有Nikon Coolpix A、Leica X2、Fujifilm X100s、Sigma DP1 Merrill等等。

再回頭看這段歷史,GR所擁有的獨特性,或者是說繼承的血統,單手操作的高度自訂義系統,可放進口袋的機身,銳利豐富的28mm鏡頭焦段,SNAP快拍的街頭魅力,直到現今,依然沒有任何一台小尺寸的攜帶相機能夠超越。

Ricoh GR II 僅是小改款,增添WIFI和多樣濾鏡、以及系統的穩定性,但隨著各家相機的新機推陳變快,GR的對焦系統跟不上,能夠繼續使用GR的同學,真是熱愛這款小相機;我們在交流的過程,經常會聽到彼此說,而來GR還有這麼多功能?!原來夜景可以用SNAP這樣拍?!然後用自己的攝影思維,去處理影像問題,獲得更多的拍照樂趣。

全新的Ricoh GR III是一款極具野心的產品,我跟野口先生(GR設計師)聊過關於許多GR III開發與設計的話題,也認同GR並不是換一個感光元件增加畫素後,推出市場的產品而已,野口先生仔細的斟酌要加入怎樣的功能,會讓新一代的GR能夠在超越固有的等級;產品的製作並不是市面常見的所有功能都加入,就成為好產品,優秀的設計是斟酌與簡化的過程,並強調出核心的精神,取捨是一件藝術的事。

首先,GR做到更小的機身,Ricoh GR III是目前世界上最小的 APS-C片幅相機,長寬比接近iPhone 4s,幾乎跟GRD一樣尺寸,並將防手震SR系統、DRII超音波除塵置入機身。在拍攝過程,SR防手震可以有效地降低安全快門的速度,降低感光度,展現出更好的畫面純淨度;同時也屏除了GR會入塵的老毛病,再也不會因為照片的小黑點需要送修。


為什麼GR要做到更小的機身呢?


就是希望使用者能夠每天攜帶拍照。論拍照的方便性,智慧型手機己經沒有對手,但手機缺乏機械操作的樂趣,沒有光圈縮放,在物理光學的限制下沒辦法使用大尺寸的感光元件,只能從演算法去改進,拍出的照片雖然是很好看,但真的拿出數位相機來比較,畫質的層次與細膩還是有差,譬如2009年的GRD3的照片細膩度還是贏過手機太多;所以手機越來越大台,而相機就變得極端,要是專業的厚重機型,不然就是輕巧高畫質等二選一。所以我們就不難理解GRIII的機身往小裡做,死命地縮減空間,甚至把閃光燈都擠掉了,也無怨無悔。

GR III 感光元件的升級是意料中,從1600萬像素升級到2400像素,也升級新一代GR Engine VI處理晶片,採用了混合式對比相位對焦,因此GR的反應速度、對焦速度,高感度的畫質,都有了相當明顯的提升,至於畫質與高感的表現,還是要用照片來說話,而目前沒有實拍照片可參考,所以留給之後再談。

GR III的6公分微距系統,是最令我驚豔的地方,很多人都念念不忘GRD的1公分近拍,而我認為GR III這次的表現,已經不輸GRD的近拍表現。首先要先了解GRD的1公分近拍是建立在1/1.7吋感光元件,可用ISO64~ISO200,只要現場光線不足,拍出來的畫質就不是很好。

GR III雖然只有6公分微距,由於採用APS-C片幅的緣故,可用ISO100~ISO6400,比較不會受到光線的限制,再來是高畫素可供裁切,所以GRIII只要搭配50mm裁切拍照,依然保有1200萬畫素,展現出媲美GRD的微距感,這就是為什麼GRIII的微距令我印象深刻的地方。


最後來聊聊GR III的其他改進


1.螢幕改為觸碰式,並從原本的4:3改為3:2的顯示尺寸,可以在螢幕上選擇對焦點,選單也是點選滑動,如果喜歡傳統的GR操作感,進入選單後,有一個把觸碰螢幕關掉的選項。

2.內建閃光燈拿掉,新的閃光燈熱靴系統支援Pentax的所有閃燈,也包含離機閃的支援。

3.在照片的色彩調控上多了色相環的控制,濾鏡風格比起GRII有減少。

4.錄影模式只有1080P 60FPS,依然不適合錄影用途,不過買GR的同學也少用來錄影。

5.連接GR有WIFI和Bluetooth兩種,目前還不知道連接的規格有沒有2.4G+5G。

6.GRIII採用新的電池DB-110 1350mAh,但拍照張數介於200張左右,相對來說比較耗電,旅遊拍照一顆電池是不夠用的。

7.GRIII的鏡頭重新設計,舊款的GW-3廣角鏡頭無法共用,會推出新廣角鏡頭GW-4和轉接環,轉接環上面有電子晶片,會自動辨識外接廣角鏡頭,並修正拍照的EXIF。

The new Ricoh GR III is a very ambitious product. I talked with Mr. Noguchi (GR designer) about many GR III development and design topics. I also agree that GR is not a replacement for a photosensitive element. The products of the market only, Mr. Noguchi carefully considers what kind of functions to add, which will enable the new generation of GR to surpass the inherent level; the production of the products is not the common function of the market, it becomes a good product, excellent design. It is a process of discretion and simplification, and emphasizes the core spirit. Trade-offs are an artistic thing.

First of all, GR is a smaller body. The Ricoh GR III is the world's smallest APS-C format camera. The aspect ratio is close to that of the iPhone 4s. It is almost the same size as the GRD, and it will be anti-shock SR system, DRII super. The sound wave is dusted into the fuselage. During the shooting process, SR anti-shake can effectively reduce the speed of the safety shutter, reduce the sensitivity, and show a better picture purity; at the same time, it also removes the old problem that GR will dust, no longer because of the small photo. Black spots need to be repaired.


Why does GR have to do a smaller body?


I hope that users can take pictures every day. On the convenience of taking pictures, the smart phone has no rivals, but the mobile phone lacks the fun of mechanical operation, there is no aperture zoom, and there is no way to use large-size photosensitive elements under the limitation of physical optics. It can only be improved from the algorithm. Although the photos are very good, but I really took out a few cameras to compare, the quality and level of the quality is still poor, such as the photo of the GRD3 in 2009 is still too much to win the phone; so the phone is getting bigger and bigger Taiwan, and the camera becomes extreme. If it is a professional heavy model, it will be light and high quality. Therefore, it is not difficult for us to understand that the fuselage of the GRIII is going to be small, and the space is reduced by death, and even the flash is squeezed out, and there is no regrets.

The upgrade of the GR III sensor is expected to be upgraded from 16 million pixels to 2400 pixels, and the new generation of GR Engine VI processing chips is also upgraded, using hybrid contrast phase focusing, so the response speed, focusing speed, and high sensitivity of the GR are drawn. Quality, there is a fairly obvious improvement, as for the performance of high quality and high sense, we still have to use photos to speak, and there is no real photo available for reference, so leave it for later.

GR III's 6 cm macro system is the most amazing place for me. Many people are obsessed with GRD's 1 cm close-up, and I think the GR III's performance this time has not lost the GRD's close-up performance. First of all, we must first understand that GRD's 1 cm close-up is based on 1/1.7 吋 photosensitive element, ISO64~ISO200 can be used. As long as the scene is insufficient, the picture quality is not very good.

Although GR III is only 6 cm macro, due to the use of APS-C frame, ISO100~ISO6400 can be used, which is not limited by light. High-resolution pixels can be cut, so GRIII can be cut with 50mm. Taking pictures, still retains 12 million pixels, showing the macro sense of the GRD, which is why the macro of GRIII impressed me.

Finally, let's talk about other improvements to GR III.

1. The screen is changed to touch, and the original 4:3 is changed to the 3:2 display size. You can select the focus point on the screen. The menu is also click to slide. If you like the traditional GR operation, enter the menu. There is an option to turn off the touch screen.

2. The built-in flash is removed. The new flash hot shoe system supports all the flash lights of Pentax, and also includes support for off-camera flash.

3. In the color control of the photo, the control of the hue circle is added, and the filter style is reduced compared with the GRII.

4. The video mode is only 1080P 60FPS, which is still not suitable for video use, but the students who buy GR are also less used for video recording.

5. There are two types of connection GR: WIFI and Bluetooth. It is not known whether the connection specification is 2.4G+5G.

6.GRIII adopts the new battery DB-110 1350mAh, but the number of photographs is about 200, which is relatively power-consuming. You need to prepare a more battery for travel.

7. GRIII lens redesign, the old GW-3 wide-angle lens can not be shared, will introduce a new wide-angle lens GW-4 and adapter ring, there is an electronic chip on the adapter ring, will automatically identify the external wide-angle lens, and correct the EXIF ​​camera.

The above is my first impression of GRIII, for the reference of the students, and finally the release date, the official said that it will be listed in early 2019.
